Niners go for seven straight

…anyone else feel weird about rooting against the Giants?

Justin Tuck went ahead and gave Smith some bulletin board material, but maybe New York picked a fight with the wrong A Smith. The Niner offense goes through Frank Gore, and the difference maker could be the 9ers ability to get to Peyton’s retarded kid brother. To that end, Aldon Smith might be the key.

Here’s to hoping the football Giants step on their own dicks the way their baseball counterparts did in 2010.

What’s going on? Fox is making me watch the Aint v. Falcons :< Even with DTV.

  3. Chico says:

Good challenge! That’s a fumble.. They better get it right.

  4. Chico says:

    Onside kick? THAT was gutsy!

  5. shaman138 says:

No TDs and this game looks pretty evenly matched…could go either way. And is anyone else happy that the stupid Eagles’ “dream team” season just went down the toilet? I know I am!

    • Chico says:

Cheers on the downfall of the Eagles!!.. Agree, this game is evenly matched.. I’m headed over to a buddy’s house for the second half.. Enjoy the game guys and gals.

Great decision V. Davis made at the goal line there to leap high for the endzone. A simple toe to toe collision might’ve knocked him back out of bounds. Instead, he froze the defender and then surprised him. Very cool. Hey, so was that interception a second ago! The 49ers are fun to watch again. I’m in.

Wow…what a game! Give it up to the Nineballers, they’re looking really good. Patrick Willis is just a motherfucking beast and he was simply clutch today. The Giants basically did step on their own dicks to lose the game. How about the irony of a huge game for the Niners coming up in a few weeks…Raiders at Packers! I think most all Niner fans will be Raider fans that morning and the Raiders are a sociopathic, bipolar team right now–they can win any game or lose any game so a win against GB is not out of the question to give SF the first seed in the playoffs. Now THAT is irony!

Also looking like the goddamned Cowfucks might sneak away with the NFC East….that is no bueno

Both Bay Area teams leading their divisions, how long has it been since we could say that? It seems the Lions aren’t the dominant force they were made out to be either…

      • shaman138 says:

I have NFL Red Zone and watched the Bears-Lions game….Stafford was simply pathetic. The commentators stating talking shit towards the end of the game about the Lions saying it’s a long season and the Lions haven’t realized that. I think the Raiders can bitch slap the Lions in a few weeks and I’ll be at that game to enjoy every moment of Seymour and Company’s bitch slappery over Stafford.

Giants have a tough schedule coming up. And they didn’t count THIS one as a tough game. Dallas could very well sneak in and win the division. They’ll lose in the 1st round, however, so I don’t care. The Niners just bought themselvs a 3 game lead on the Giants for the 1st round bye.

      • shaman138 says:

They’ll easily take the second seed. I think it may be potentially interesting to see the Raiders-Packers game determine the top seed for the NFC playoffs…that would be fucking hilarious to see the Raiders topple the Packers and give the Niners the first seed.

8 and 1 baby! Great game. Justin Smith with another huge play to seal the win.

  10. mailorderwife says:

Great great game. Patrick Willis is RIDICULOUS, and Justin Smith…wow!! Alex Smith even looked solid and confident, and I am so happy those stutter steps are going by the wayside. 8-1 is awesome!

How bout them forty fucking niners eh? They once again come through against a tough opponent. Cheers!

  13. Chico says:

Shaman, LOL, WTF dude? You trolled up the gate!…

It has never bothered me during my lifetime to do just that…:-)

Kemp to get an 8 year/$160 million deal from the Dodgers?

    Rubber checks?

  16. unca_chuck says:

Are the O’Malleys really trying to get the team back?

    Note to self:

Never pound a six-pack of Racer 5 during a 49er-NY Giants game and then go to the Niner blogs and make obnoxious remarks. End result: Senseless comments that I barely remember making.

Very interesting article on California. I used to work for local government down here for less than a year and found that retirement plan intriguing. However, the whole “guaranteed a job” thing was bullshit, and I moved to the private sector STAT.

I don’t know what effect this had, but yesterday when I logged on to read the splash I took the time (didn’t take more than a minute or so) to report fishwrap’s posts as abusive spam. When he repeated the same stuff over and over, I left a comment with the report, pointing out that the poster was reposting over and over. As I say, it didn’t take much time, and I was moving through the posts to look for good ones, anyway.
